April 20, 2010 – The FGILA Foundation presented it’s 23rd Annual Student Designer Scholarship Awards for 2010. Each year, the FGILA Foundation raises money for the purpose of awarding cash scholarships to student’s majoring in Fashion Design. The Awards for 2010 were awarded in the categories: Swimwear with Wrap, Comtemporary, and Eveningwear. One 2nd year student and one 4th year student was chosen for each category, and each received a $2,000 check towards their college tuition. A 4th category was added for 2010 for Evening Footwear, which was sponsored by Logan Real footwear. A single winner in that category also received a $2000 cash award.
